Moscow is the capital of the Russian Federation. It is the business, scientific, cultural and tourist center of the country. Moscow's unique complex list of attractions attracts visitors from across the world. According to legend Moscow was founded by Suzals Prince Yuri Dolgorukiy in 1147. In the fourteenth century Moscow became the centre of Great Moscow Pricipality and later it became a centre for the whole of the Russian State.
Moscow is among the most beautiful cities in the world, it combines the best historic architecture along side some more modern styles. The city has, in recent years undergone a transformation having many treasures restored after the many years of neglect under the soviet system.

Population More than 8.5million people live within the Moscow city area and more than 1 million visitors per day.

Transport There are nine railway stations and five airports in Moscow. Complimenting this are extensive bus and metro networks as well as the normal taxi services. A well developed public transport system with its legacy from the pre soviet days carrying more than 40 million passengers every year. |
